Feature Trade! Call for Literature

Tue Sep 29, 2009, 3:10 PM
So in going in the vein of feature journals I'm running on my other accounts, I thought I'd run a feature trade on this account to cater those of you who have literature to share. This feature is going to work a little different than the art features. Read on!:

1) The first 5 people who comment asking to participate in this trade will have 3 of their best works from their gallery featured in a journal. I will be choosing the 3 works to be featured from each person's gallery.

2) In return, you will post a journal featuring 3 of my best works of your choosing!

3) Unlike the art features, a literature feature works a little different. When you list a work by someone, you must write a line or two that relates what you enjoyed about the piece and why you chose to feature it.

3) Love and art is spread to the masses

Because it will take a little while to go through everyone's feature suggestions, I'll be running this feature a little later than the others. I'm shooting to run this feature October 10th.

:heart:Let the sharing begin!

See my other feature trade journals in progress now!

I actually don't like reading -especially long texts-, but I started reading your "Child of the Storm" fanfiction and just couldn't stop until I read the whole thing.
Very very well written :#1:

When you get around to it, be sure to fix the link to your revised home website (Angelic Shades) from this page. That is all! TTFN!

Hello, Ms. ladydove7.

Before I go about providing the feedback you mention above, I'm hoping to confirm that you still, in fact, want it. ;-)

I appears that you have not posted anything new here for some time, and I understand that often Melpomene goes on vacation for extended periods of time (sometimes never to return); but if you would still like someone to provide constructive feedback on your writing I would be more than happy to do so.

PS
There will be new stuff on here as soon as I figure out the best way to publish essays with figure images in them. I have some random essays on Postcolonialism and Paradise Lost, Egyptian funerary art, and the like that SOME random nerd might be interested in.

Uummm, I think I may have just been inadvertently (or perhaps advertently) labeled a 'random nerd'. ;-) Do you have MS Word? If so, do you have a recent version that uses revision tracking?

I think it has revision tracking. I've never used the feature before. Hahaha it's ok to be a random nerd>> Everyone could use more useless knowledge like what furniture Egyptians would bury you with.
